Kilauea -  Big Island's active volcano can now be viewed at twilight

The Hawaiian name "Kīlauea" means "spewing" or "much spreading". Kīlauea is the home of Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess. Hawaiian chants and oral traditions tell in veiled form of many eruptions fomented by an angry Pele.

Hawaii Forest & Trail (one of the top eco-tour companies in Hawai'i) offers a "not to miss" adventure "Twilight Volcano Adventure". In addition to visiting the highlights of Hawai'i Island's number one land attraction, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, the tour includes visiting the Kalapana Viewing Area to see the volcano's current flow's activities. Being able to see the fiery lava when the sun is setting just adds to the mystic of this incredible attraction.

Kilauea
The Twilight Volcano Adventure includes lunch and dinner as well as access fees, use of flashlights, rainwear, daypacks, and walking staffs. It's the perfect itinerary for those adventure seekers wanting a taste of it all!

Flyin' High on Mau'i

Maui's newest and longest zipline course, Flyin Hawaiian Zipline has raised the bar to new heights in every imaginable way. This brand new course offers eight zipline experiences, including the longest and most amazing ride in Hawaii a staggering 3600 feet in length! That's over two-thirds of a mile ride on one single zipline!

They have other really long lines too; their 2800 foot line is tied for the second longest line in Hawaii, and there are also lines of 2100 feet and 1900 feet.

 Maui Zipline 2

Flyin Hawaiian Zipline is so long that the course actually starts and ends in two different towns! The tour begins at the Maui Tropical Plantation in the village of Waikapu, and the course ends in Ma'alaea a little over a mile from the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium and Ma'alaea Harbor. Their location in Central Maui makes it a convenient drive for guests staying in both South Maui and West Maui.

Celebrate the Year of the Tiger
The only Chinatown in Hawai'i is on Oah'u and this year's festivities begin on February 5. The Year of the Tiger officially begins February 14, 2010 but celebrations get underway early.

The streets are filled with the lion dance parades, firecrackers are set off continually and the restaurants are brimming with delectable Chinese food. If you are in Honolulu on February 5th don't miss this great tradition!
Farm to Table Dinners are a big hit
More and more planners want to add culinary experiences that include cooking classes and tastings with Hawaiian chefs to their program offerings. Fortunately Hawaii has plenty of renowned chefs to choose from.
Alan Wong, a celebrated chef and restaurateur, offers "The Farmer's Series Dinners" in his King Street restaurant on Oah'u. The diners get to meet and mingle with local farmers who "talk story" about their farms and what the diners are about to eat. The menus are written to explain where the products came from and how it was grown and the best thing is they get to taste everything!

Depending on which island your program is on, there are plenty of opportunities to provide an exclusive culinary venue in Hawai'i.
